Sophie Le-Phat Ho is a cultural organizer who grew up in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal and its suburbs. For more than a decade, her work has been about experimenting with tactics for fostering intersectional solidarities through anti-racist feminist organizing, publishing, and curating, especially in the artist-run world. Her individual and collaborative writings have been published in esse arts + opinions, Inter art actuel, Le Merle, Heteropolis, among others. Co-editor of the zine Represent: Fuck White Supremacy, she also guest edited and co-edited for .dpi, No More Potlucks, FUSE, and MICE. Cofounder of transdisciplinary collective Artivistic, she is currently involved in Brick by Brick, a community housing and social centre project.


Ronald Rose-Antoinette is a Martinican writer and editor whose work is dedicated to the critical assemblage of image-making and devotional practices. He served as the co-editor of Inflexions, an online journal published by the SenseLab, and the co-editor of the Immediations book series at Open Humanities Press. His writings have been published in FUSE Magazine, Flash Art International, Inflexions, No More Potlucks and MICE Magazine, among others. He also contributed to an edited volume on Thai filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul entitled Nocturnal Fabulations: Ecology, Opacity and Vitality in Apichaptong Weerasethakul’s Cinema (OHP). He lives in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal.

Dr. Denise Ferreira da Silva’s academic writings and artistic practice address the ethical questions of the global present and target the metaphysical and ontoepistemological dimensions of modern thought. Currently, she is a Professor and Director of The Social Justice Institute (the Institute for Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice) at the University of British Columbia. Her art-related work include texts for publications linked to the 2016 Liverpool and Sao Paulo Biennales, advising Natasha Ginwala, the curator for the Contour 8 Biennale (Mechelen, 2017), as well as events (performances, talks, and private sessions) and texts that part of her own practice, Poethical Readings (in collaboration with Valentina Desideri), the play Return to Vanishing Peasant (in collaboration with Ros Martin) and the 2016 film Serpent Rain (in collaboration with Arjuna Neuman).



Nasrin Himada is a Palestinian writer, editor, and curator living and working in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal, in Kanien'kehá:ka territory. Their writing on contemporary art has been published in Canadian Art, C Magazine, Critical Signals, The Funambulist, FUSE Magazine, MICE Magazine, among others. They are the co-editor of


Jamilah Sabur is an interdisciplinary artist who was born in Saint Andrew, Jamaica. She received her MFA in Visual Arts from University of California San Diego in 2014 and her BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art in Interdisciplinary Sculpture in 2009. She is interested in embodied cognition, social mimicry, dissonance, ritual, and the uncanny. Recent exhibition and screening venues include The Pérez Art Museum Miami, Current Projects, Miami;  ICA London; The 39th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema, Havana (Cuba); (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico, A Coruña, Galicia (Spain); Busan Corner Theater, Busan (South Korea).

Sabur lives and works in Miami, Florida.


Mariana Marcassa is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Arts at Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) and Academic Visitor at the SenseLab (Concordia University). She currently lives and works in Tiohtia:ke/Montreal where she has been developing a theoretical and practical approach to sound and voice explorations, and the creation of experimental listening techniques. Her work suggests an opening up towards inhabiting different bodies: extra-human, infra-human, animal, plant, mineral, molecular. Marcassa has performed locally and internationally, including Darling Foundry and Eastern Bloc in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal, MAM in Sao Paulo, Museu do Mar and MAC in Rio de Janeiro, and Matadero Gallery in Madrid (Spain).



Annie Wong is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and community organizer. Wong’s current research includes the aesthetics of social engagement and rituals of remembrance in the Chinese Canadian diaspora. She has presented in festivals and galleries across Canada including The Art Gallery of Ontario, Intersite: Visual Arts Festival (Calgary, AL), and Third Space (Saint John, NB). Her writing has appeared most recently in Canadian Art, Performance Research Journal, MICE Magazine, and The Shanghai Literary Review.

She holds a BA in English Literature and MA in Communication and Culture from York University.
