We are excited to announce that Amelia Wong-Mersereau will be joining the SBC team as our new Communications Assistant for a 30-week period, supported by Emploi-Quebec! 

 

Born and raised in Montréal, Amelia holds an MA in Art History from Concordia University. She is a member of the editorial board at esse arts + opinions and was the Winter 2021 editorial resident at Canadian Art. You can read her latest article here.

 

Amelia is looking forward to gaining experience working with artists and learning more about the inner-workings of a gallery! Some of SBC’s past programming that Amelia is most inspired and excited by has come from artists such as Mariana Marcassa, nènè myriam konaté, and Walter Scott.
