SBC Gallery of Contemporary Art offers a fourth series in its At Home with Art program. The fall 2014 sessions consist of studio, museum and gallery visits, and focus on key contemporary movements and artists. Placing Montréal’s artistic, gallery and curatorial practices in an international and local framework, the series aims to raise awareness about local artistic creation and display.



The courses will be led by SBC director/curator Pip Day and each visit will feature a special guest. Visits will take place (in English) on the following dates:

 

 

Wednesday, September 17th: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Artists studios visit : Pascal Grandmaison & Marie-Claire Blais

 

Tuesday, September 30th: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Exhibition visit: Michael Blum: Notre Histoire / Our History, Galerie de l'Uqam 

 

Wednesday, October 15th: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Corporate collection visit: la Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec

 

 

 

 

$35 per visit.
