PARTENARIAT
Partnership with the bookstore Racines
We are excited to announce our new partnership with the bookstore Racines!
Located on Saint Hubert Plaza in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montreal, Racines offers works by racialized authors, including scientific essays, novels and children's books that cover a wide range of historical, political and cultural topics.
On the occasion of the exhibition Resistencia. Perú 1970-1975, Gabriella Kinté, the founder of Racines, offers us a set of literary references that expand upon the exhibition’s themes (socio-political history of latin-american countries, african and indigineous enslavement, anti-indigenous and anti-black racism as well as Afro-Latin cultures), as they manifest in Latin America broadly.
An intense dive into the history and the incredible cultural diversity of the peoples of the Latin American continent.
Visit the exhibition and consult this great selection, and/or stop by the Racines bookstore located at 6524 Saint-Hubert Street to get the books!
