We are pleased to welcome Mohamed Ben Soltane to the SBC team! He joins us as interim Head of Public Programs and Institutional Development.

Mohamed is a visual artist, researcher, and curator based in Montréal. His practice sits at the intersection of creation, critical thinking, and cultural engineering. Trained in visual arts in Tunis, where he long led structuring projects, he is now developing research grounded in cultural studies and decolonial perspectives, examining the conditions of production, circulation, and reception of art.

Through his curatorial projects and public programs, he designs spaces for transmission and experimentation aimed at strengthening artists' capacity to reach wider audiences.
