Please join us for a fandango to celebrate the finissage of Burning Rage - A Reckoning by Adela Goldbard.

 

The event will feature live music by Son Jarocho Montréal. To close, one of the exhibition's works will be used as a piñata, as an act of catharsis and celebration. The event is open to all ages and free of charge. Everyone is invited to sing, dance, and enjoy the festive spirit. Punch and popcorn will be offered throughout the afternoon.

ABOUT SON JAROCHO MONTREAL

Founded in 2012, Son Jarocho Montréal is the largest community of this musical genre in Canada. It promotes Mexican culture through fandangos and workshops. Son jarocho, typical of Veracruz, combines singing, dancing, and string instruments, carrying a strong cultural significance both in the lyrics and instrumentation. It is played during fandangos, community celebrations where everyone is invited to participate.
